We can create your quilt from scratch or do long-arm quilting (and yes, even hand quilting) on quilts you have pieced yourself.
We do long-arm quilting for those who create their own beautiful quilt tops. Check out the photos above to see samples of our logarm quilting work. Below is a chart you can use to estimate what the charges would be for your quilt. If you have any questions we are more than happy to answer any e-mails, phone calls or letters.
Quilting Rates:
Hourly rate: (seam repair, basting, pressing, binding services etc.)………..$15.00/hr.
Quilting:
Quilting rates are based on the batting size required and are all-over or all-over plus border quilting designs. Tight, heirloom, individual block patterns and art quilts are specialty orders and will be done by individual contract.
Under 36” x 36”…………..done by the hour at $15.00/hr
45” x 60”……………………………....................$40.00
72” x 90”……………………………....................$72.00
81” x 96”……………………………....................$90.00
90” x 108”……………………………...................$105.00
96” x 110”……………………………...................$125.00
*Over 96” x 110”…………………..…………by contract
*one side of the quilt cannot exceed 110 inches unless it is hand quilted.
Hand Quilting………………………………..by contract
Thread will vary per project. Specialty and variegated threads are available. Please specify your preference of thread color at the time of order.
Batting (if needed)…………………………..at cost plus $5.00
Motif placement (1st placement of each motif is free)….$1.00/placement
Bindings (making, sewing on and hand finishing available)…$15.00/hr
Please note: Double checking your seams, removing excess threads from the right side of the top and backing, and pressing will reduce hourly charges!
I do not wash or preshrink batting, backing or binding. If you want this done, do it prior to sending the project to me.
